Germany will provide financial and military assistance to Ukraine as much as needed, Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock assured in an interview with Bild am Sonntag.
“We are delivering heavy weapons. And I understand that the Ukrainians want more supplies and faster. But we do not have a large number of functioning, ultra-modern systems, which are primarily needed at the moment,»,— Burbock said, noting that the military industry now produces directly for Kyiv.
Berlin, she said, assumes that new heavy weapons are “from friends”; Ukraine may need next summer. “Ukraine defends our freedom too, our world order, and we will support it materially and militarily as long as it is necessary”, — promised the head of the German Foreign Ministry.
