In the meantime, a second line of defense against natural fires has already been created in the Ryazan region. Over the past day, the total area of fires in the region increased by about 29%, reaching 15,227 hectares.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Alexander Kurenkov spoke about the situation with forest fires in the country.
