Muscovites warned about the increase in the concentration of harmful emissions due to fires

On the night of Friday, August 26, and in the morning in Moscow and the Moscow region, the concentration of harmful emissions from forest fires may increase several times. A leading employee of the Phobos weather center warned about this in his Telegram channel. Evgeny Tishkovets.

According to the specialist, the risks are associated with the southeast air outflow.

“Attention, smog!”, – he wrote.

In the meantime, a second line of defense against natural fires has already been created in the Ryazan region. Over the past day, the total area of ​​fires in the region increased by about 29%, reaching 15,227 hectares.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Alexander Kurenkov spoke about the situation with forest fires in the country.
