Citizens of the Russian Federation who are registered with the military and who have gone abroad for a short time may be called up as part of partial mobilization. This was stated by an employee of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky.
According to him, Russians who live abroad on a permanent basis will not be called up.
Recall that the president of the Russian Federation announced a partial mobilization in the country on September 21. It is planned that 300,000 reservists will be called up as part of it.
Russian leader Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov previously denied information that Russia plans to call up a million people as part of partial mobilization.
