Nicki Minaj’s Husband’s Accuser Says She’s Getting Threats Since Tell-All Interview

Jennifer Hough says fans of the Queen of Hip Hop have been terrorizing her after she spoke out on an interview on the daytime television show The Real where she alleged that Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj were harassing her to recant her story in order to help his charges in L.A.

The victim shared screenshots of DMs she received all part of the backlash she’s getting after she spoke about the rape incident, which led to Petty being convicted for attempted rape in 1995 and serving almost five years in jail.

Hough was speaking as she dropped a lawsuit for harassment on Nicki Minaj and her husband.

Hough’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, says she has been bombarded with hate-filled messages from Nicki’s fans known as the ‘Barbs.’

According to TMZ, some of the DMs bash Hough while others include death threats, and one also made it known to Hough that her personal information was not a secret and she could be easily found.

“Nicki is not dumb and works with the Kardashian lawyers. You are sick,” wrote one of Nicki’s Barbz, while another called Hough a “clout chaser” and wished death upon her. “Hope you die bitch…Your clown ass will be exposed don’t come for my queen.”

The screenshots also saw Hough replying to some of the messages. “I’m not bothering anyone. just speaking facts,” she wrote. “I wish they would have just left me alone and been happy.”

During her emotional interview on “The Real,” Hough said since Kenneth Petty got married to Nicki Minaj, her identity became exposed, and she has been in fear and has had to move away from New York because her identity was found out and it was not safe for her or her family to be there as she received threats.

She said the aftermath of the rape saw her life change drastically.

“I had to leave my family, I had to leave my home and I had to move away,” she said.

She also outlined efforts by Minaj and people claiming to be associated with Minaj who approached her to change her story to help Petty. Still, she says she’s finally standing up to her rapist and his shenanigans.

“I feel like the actions that were taken in regards to this whole situation put me in a different type of fear at my age now, and it was wrong,” she said. “And I don’t want to be afraid anymore. The only way not to be afraid is to continue to speak up.”

Meanwhile, because of the conviction in New York, Petty had to register as a sex offender if he moved to the state of California per the law there. He failed to do so and is now facing up to 10 years in jail. He recently accepted a plea deal for not registering in California.

However, it sees the new legal troubles that have sent the Pettys desperate for any damage control. Hough says Minaj personally called her and told her she heard Hough wanted to do something for them, which was her asking her to recant her story so that Kenneth Petty could get off on the current charges.

However, Hough sees Minaj and Petty for witness intimidation, emotional distress, harassment, assault, and battery. She is seeking damages as well as statutory damages and attorney’s fees.

Neither Minaj nor Kenneth has responded to the allegations. The pair got married in 2019 and now has a one-year-old son.

Lil Nas X Was Trying To Get Drake & Nicki Minaj On “Montero”

Lil Nas X tried to get Nicki Minaj and Drake on his album Montero but had no such luck.

It’s rare to see a stan-turn-major artist get the opportunity to collaborate with their former idol. Lil Nas X who was once a devout Barb tried to make it happen a few weeks ago when he asked Nicki Minaj to be a part of his new album Montero but the rapper’s dreams were not realized. The project that is slated to drop at midnight has guest stars like Jack Harlow who features on the popular track “Industry Baby,” Elton John, Miley Cyrus and Megan Thee Stallion who is featured on the title “Dolla Sign Slime.”

Lil Nas X originally wanted Drake to feature on the latter but the rapper wasn’t available for the project. In a new interview on The Breakfast Club, the “Montero” rapper revealed that he hit up Young Money stars Drake and Nicki Minaj to be on his album but it was an unsuccessful attempt. While he says Drake responded explaining that he was focused on his own album Certified Lover Boy at the time and wasn’t able to collaborate with him right now, Nicki Minaj simply sent no response.

“He [Drake] said he’s down to do something, but it’s just not the right time,” Lil Nas X explained. As for Nicki ghosting him, fans are speculating that she left him hanging as a way of returning the favor for when he did the same to her. Though it’s well known now that Nas X was a huge Nicki Minaj stan and even managed a fan account that repped the Young Money queen on Twitter, he denied it until his breakout hit “Old Town Road” went big and changed the game for him.

Nicki had addressed it in a statement on Twitter hinting that she wasn’t pleased about his denial but gave him props for eventually coming clean.  “It was a bit of a sting when you denied being a barb, but I understand,” she wrote. “Congratulations on building up your confidence to speak your truth. @LilNasX.” Since Nicki didn’t respond to Lil Nas X’s request to be a part of Montero at all, it leaves fans to make their best guess about what they think happened, and many seem to be taking into account the fact that her name is Mrs. Petty after all.

the generous queen, i love u. and i’m sorry i did that in a time where u were already getting so much bandwagon hate. i felt so bad, hoping u wouldn’t see my denial. i was just so afraid of people finding out about me and losing everything before i even got a chance. pic.twitter.com/3kgJctDJt1

As for Drake who Lil Nas X says is willing to make a joint track happened, should we expect them to make that happen anytime soon?

Nicki Minaj Says She’s Speaking Out For Family In Trinidad, “I have to be their voice and I will”

Nicki Minaj says she will continue to speak out on behalf of her family in Trinidad due to their inadequate access to the internet.

Nicki Minaj is continuing down her path of misinformation and dragging the small twin-island republic of her once native home, Trinidad and Tobago, into the mix. The influential rapper took to Instagram yesterday to explain why she was hesitant about the coronavirus vaccine and clear up her ‘invitation’ to the White House. In her explanation, she alleged that being able to access Instagram in T&T was difficult, which is why she has to be the voice of her family back home.

However, the country has several internet providers, and there are no bans on the use of social media. According to her video, her family members do not have access to the social media site, and so she intends to be a champion for their cause and other people like them as well.

“Could you imagine being in a country where it is not that easy to get on Instagram? My family members in Trinidad don’t even have Instagram so if I have to be their voice and I will! I was born in Trinidad, I am a self-made woman so at the heart of who I am I will always root for the f***ing underdog,” she said.

Probably an even more spurious claim that she alleged was that people in Trinidad and Tobago are being denied employment based on their vaccination status. This is also completely false as the current government has made no attempt to mandate vaccines and is still going the route of encouragement rather than enforcement. Some private companies have put their own rules in place, but none have forced workers to vaccinate so far.

“I might have seen my family struggle and I will ensure my son doesn’t have to live that life but how can you forget it, how can you negate how these people feel? They are being told if they don’t have the vaccine they can’t work so if I want to ask questions about the vaccine, what’s wrong?” she asked.

She also sought to clarify her statement about being invited to the White House to speak with Dr. Anthony Fauci and the US surgeon general.

Yesterday, September 15, Nicki Minaj claimed that she was invited by the White House to speak about her issues with the vaccine, but after several media outlets sought clarification on the matter, it was revealed by White House officials that she was actually scheduled for a phone call.

“The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m going. I‘ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human. #BallGate day 3,” she posted on Twitter.

— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) September 15, 2021

The “Starships” singer explained to her fans that she told the White House that she would prefer not to travel.

“I told them it would not feel genuine if it was something I discuss with them only because it would come off disingenuous to my fans because it would feel that I am selling them the vaccine and they agreed,” she said.

Nicki Minaj, in her new role as champion of the underdog, said she also asked her fans on Twitter to submit questions to ask the medical experts at the White House. Something she said is necessary so that those who are afraid don’t get laughed at.

“You can’t do that to me, you can’t just laugh me up out of here. No boo boo I would have been gone. I have been targeted and bullied my whole career, I don’t get on the Internet and cry about it,” she said.

Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, left T&T when she was five years old to live in the United States. Her recent comments have drawn the ire of many in the country as some question her incredulous claims. However, as evidenced by the comments under the post, her Barbz are soaking up all the misinformation and praising her for speaking out.

NIcki Minaj Gets Support From Spice & Macka Diamond After Vax Fallout

Nicki Minaj gets is getting an outpouring amount of support from fans and colleagues in the music industry including Spice and Macka Diamond.

Nicki Minaj believes that she is being persecuted for speaking out about the coronavirus vaccine even though many of her claims have already been debunked. She went live on Instagram yesterday, September 15, to express her sentiments.

Nicki also said that she believed there was an attempt to assassinate her character because she has chosen to speak up for those who do not have a voice.

She’s already received support for her comments from two female dancehall deejays. Spice said, “Onika you are under attack because you’re “black and intelligent” when we are too educated we become a problem to society . May God watch over you and cover every step you take.”

Macka Diamond wrote, “United we stand divided we fall most black people still don’t get you are a strong minded black woman and you are blessed God is in control blessed love stay focus and prayed up.”

@nickiminaj IG

Nicki Minaj also took the opportunity to respond to the severe backlash she’s received following her comments on Twitter where she alleged that a family friend suffered an unusual side effect of the vaccine which made him impotent. Several popular talk show hosts in the US like Trevor Noah and Joy Reid addressed the issue.

“The first attack was from a black woman. This thing to assassinate me is from an Uncle Tomiana when 80 per cent of the artistes y’all are following right now feel the same way about the vaccine and are too afraid to speak on it,” she said.

Nicki Minaj added “And guess what they are doing right now? If they assassinate me and my character and make me look crazy or stupid, guess what? No one else will ever ask questions again. Don’t you see what’s happening?”

Before ending the video, she added that she was disgusted by the fact that people are being laughed at and aren’t being allowed to ask questions.

“Disgusting that a person can’t speak about questions or thoughts about something they have to put in their body. You see they have to get people who can just get on there and make women of colour look f***ing dumb, they can’t deal with smart women, whenever a smart woman challenges anything they get called a bitch or crazy, pick one or pick both,” she said.

The rapper also recently claimed that she had been banned from Twitter for her views but that was also debunked by a representative of the social media site. That person confirmed that her account was not being looked at for any breach of policy at the moment.

As is commonplace, her Barz were in full support even though many of the things she claimed in the video were untrue.

“Stand your ground Nick! Don’t get something just cuz everyone else is doing it! The Bible say study to should yourself approved! Let ppl study and decide for themselves! Obviously is more too it cuz they pushing it so hard and is really upset that only 22 percent of black ppl got it. Ppl was dying from the flu in the hundreds of thousands and they didn’t make it mandatory to get the flu shoot! Leave ppl alone and you do what’s best for you! P.S me getting the shoot ain’t making sh*t safe if you can still get it and spread it being Vaxx so give it a rest or give me a real reason to get it tf!” this fan said which summed up how most of her fans reacted to the video.

White House Debunks Nicki Minaj Visit, Says She Was Offered A Phone Call

The White House has debunked Nicki Minaj claim that she was invited for a discussion following a rough week.

The rapper has been spending her days defending her earlier controversial tweets about the Covid-19 virus, and on Wednesday, she said that she was “invited” to the White House to discuss the vaccines. However, a Wednesday night news report said that the White House did not offer Nicki Minaj, who is unvaccinated, a visit but rather a phone call to speak with medical experts about the safety of the vaccines and about the Covid-19 virus.

Several news media related that unnamed White House officials confirmed that a call was offered to the rapper talk about the “safety and effectiveness” of the Covid vaccine following several tweets with unsubstantiated claims about the virus that led to Twitter temporarily suspending her official account.

“As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine,” NBC News quoted one White House official as saying.

It started with Minaj explaining her she missed the 2021 Met Gala, where she said after she had tested positive for Covid herself last year, she couldn’t put her baby at risk, especially since she was unvaccinated.

“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one,” she said in a tweet.

Nicki Minaj made several other tweets and later said that she was afraid of the vaccine and needed time to do research because she heard that her cousin’s friend in Trinidad took the vaccine “and became impotent.”

As twitter dragged her online, and people like the Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson and Dr. Anthony Fauci reacted to her remarks, Nicki doubled down on her position on Twitter. She tweeted that she was invited to the White House to talk about the vaccines.

“The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human. #BallGate day 3,” she tweeted.

She noted that she was keen to go to the White House in another tweet response to a follower.

“I’m doing it, babe,” she said. “If you guys have questions you’d like me to ask, leave in the comments. You’ll see it in real time with full transparency.”

Nicki has not responded to the latest commentary from the White House.

Meanwhile, authorities in Trinidad and Tobago also reacted to the news, with the Minister of Health of that country denouncing the comments by Minaj, who was born in Trinidad but migrated to the U.S as a child.

Trinidad & Tobago Health Minister Addresses Nicki Minaj Claims Vax Cause Swollen Testicle

Trinidad and Tobago Health Minister Dr. Terrence Deyalsingh has addressed residents concerns after Nicki Minaj claimed that a friend of her cousin’s testicle got swollen due to the vaccine.

Monday (September 13th) gave birth to the much-awaited 2021 Met Gala. The star-swarmed red carpet gave many celebrities a time to shine, but before the event even began, fans started wondering why Nicki Minaj wouldn’t be making an appearance. The reason for canceling her VMAs appearance the night before also became a hot topic.

Barbz swarmed Nicki’s Twitter with continuous questions about her well-being, and Nicki replied, confirming that she did contract COVID while she was rehearsing for her VMAs performance and shooting a music video. The “Right Thru Me” singer also revealed that she didn’t attend the Met Gala because the event required you to be vaccinated.

In one of her Tweets, Nicki disclosed that Drake had contracted COVID even while being vaccinated and that she would consider getting vaxxed after she’s done enough research. She then went on into greater detail, opening up about some saddening news involving her cousin’s friend back in Trinidad. She revealed how the vaccine made him impotent and also resulted in swollen testicles.

The Trinidadian-born rapper immediately received backlash as fans claimed that she was spreading misinformation, as the virus has never been linked to causing any fertility problems in the past. Several fellow celebrities and other prominent people bad-mouthed the rapper as the news spread. In contrast, the initial tweets have not been taken down by Twitter, who claimed, “The Tweets referenced are not in violation of the Twitter Rules.”

T&T Health Minister Dr. Terrence Deyalsingh

The uproar left the Trinidadian government with no choice but to release a statement on the matter a day later, on September 14th. The Health Officer of Trinidad and Tobago, Terrence Deyalsingh, held a press conference (T&T COVID-19 UPDATE), where he addressed the matter.

“The [reason] we could not respond yesterday in real-time to Ms. Minaj is that we had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false,” he began.

“We did and unfortunately we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim. It is as far as we know at this point in time, there has been no such reported either side-effect or adverse event and what was sad about this is that it wasted our time yesterday trying to track it down,” he added.

“We take all these claims seriously, whether it’s on social media or mainstream media. As we stand now, there is absolutely no [reported side-effect] or adverse event.”

After hearing the news, fans were left with mixed feelings.

“I mean I don’t think y’all even get the big picture… it’s misinformation and it’s dangerous to put information that’s not conclusive out there especially in the climate we are in now,” one fan commented.

“No, but this is why it is so bad to spread false information!! Research first!! I’m not saying get the vaccination that’s personal but don’t go out here spreading 2nd or 3rd hand no factual information or stories it’s dangerous,” another added.

Others were still left confused about what she meant in her initial tweets, which have continued to cause a massive debate on social media.

Charlamagne Tha God Defends Nicki Minaj Against Joy Reid’s Attacks

Charlamagne Tha God went in full Nicki Minaj defense mode amid her spat with Joy Reid.

The Breakfast Club might not be the biggest fans of Nicki Minaj, but it seems now they are taking Nicki Minaj’s side as Twitter goes alight following Minaj’s tweets that she’s unvaccinated and has vaccination hesitancy.

On Tuesday, Charlamagne Tha God jumped in on the back and forth with Joy Reid and Nicki and noted that Reid “missed a real moment to teach” when she launched into attack mode at Nicki.

Minaj had earlier tweeted an explanation for her absence from the Met Gala, noting that they required attendees to be vaccinated but that she wasn’t and that she wanted to do more research before deciding to get it.

She also disclosed that she had also contracted the virus but was going to take the vaccine so she can get on the road for her tours. One of her tweets also shared second claims that the vaccine causes men to become impotent, which set off many people on social media, including Reid.

In a televised interview, Reid blasted Minaj for not using her large platform to encourage persons to get the vaccine. However, Nicki and the Barbz had receipts as Minaj came back and called out Reid for being a hypocrite who also previously shared conspiracy theories about the virus.

While many have taken sides and some have agreed that both Minaj and Reid were wrong in their approaches, Charlamagne Tha God said Reid failed to use her approach as a tool to teach instead of condemning.

“I respect Joy-Ann Reid. She’s the homie but she missed a real moment to teach yesterday because Nicki never said ‘don’t take the vaccine’ but she also, in the very next tweet, said she will probably get vaccinated to go on tour. Joy could’ve used that moment on her show to correct Nicki on whatever misinformation she put out. She could’ve said, ‘Nicki Minaj is encouraging people to do their research about the vaccine,” Charlamagne said.

He continued that it was obvious the rapper had questions as she even put up a poll asking people which vaccines they took.

“Nicki said Drake is vaccinated and she’s going to get vaccinated to go on tour. So if Drake’s vaccinated, and Nicki wants to get vaccinated, why aren’t you? That’s what Joy could’ve done,” he continued.

Meanwhile, among those reacting to Minaj’s comments are the international media and even the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

On the other hand, Nicki Minaj had time as she responded to those who tried to drag her, including a voice note message to the British PM who she told she wanted to send her work so he could become familiar with her.

Nicki Minaj Pulls Out Of Met Gala Because Of New Rules

Nicki Minaj will not attend this year’s Met Gala because of some new rules change.

Nicki Minaj is in no mood for Hollywood culture these days. She seems to have taken a stance against award shows in particular. Now she’s turned an angry eye towards fashion as she recently announced that she has no intention of attending the Met Gala tonight, September 13.

She made the announcement via Twitter but has since deleted the tweet. This latest no-show from Nicki comes just a few days after she called out BET for leaving her reunion track “Seeing Green” off of their nomination list. That track was done with her YMCMB teammates Lil Wayne and Drake.

Following that, she dropped out of her performance at the MTV VMAs. In the now-deleted tweet, she didn’t give any particular reason for skipping out on the Gala. “Won’t b there,” she said in reference to the Met Gala. She again drove the point home on Tik Tok when she said, “Not going tho,” with a smirking emoji, again in reference to the Gala.

The event promises to be a star-studded one since last year’s edition was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It seemed a prime opportunity for Nicki to make her public comeback since she’s mostly been at home with her new family and hasn’t really been to any major events this year.

Nicki Minaj later revealed the reason why she pulled out of this year’s event saying it’s because of the Met Gala’s vaccination requirements.

“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met,” she tweeted. “If I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”

This year’s Gala, which was pushed from the first Monday in May to the second Monday in September, will fall in line with the tail-end of New York Fashion Week.

The Gala, which is hosted in New York, is considered the premiere celebrity event of the year, especially for high-profile celebrities who get a chance to mingle. Of course, the focus is primarily on fashion which is used as the focal point for the annual fundraising for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

The Barbz no doubt will be disappointed that they will not get a glimpse of Nicki’s usually outlandishly stylish outfits. Something that she’s become known for when attending the Met Gala in the past.

They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one ???

Nicki Minaj & BIA Celebrates “Whole Lotta Money” Going Platinum

BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money” remix featuring Nicki Minaj has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This means that the song has sold between 500,000 to over 1 million copies.

The remix, which was released just two months ago on July 9, has been making huge strides in the industry, propelling the talented BIA to greater success and gaining Nicki Minaj yet another stripe.

The original song was released as the fifth single from BIA’s second EP “For Certain” back in May, and it was already enjoying viral success before Nicki jumped on it. The original version peaked on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 at number three and was one of the most popular tunes on Tik Tok.

The remix, however, pushed the song onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart at Number 16, the US Rhythmic (Billboard) at Number 13, the Canadian Hot 100 chart, at Number 42, Global 200 Billboard at Number 32, and the New Zealand Hot Singles Chart peaking at number 11.

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram earlier today to celebrate her newest achievement. She captioned a video of her icy “BARBIA” necklace and a photo of the collaboration cover art, “#wholeLottaMoney is PLATINUM. @bia this fking chain is soooooo freaking dope. Thank you mama!!!! Love youuuuuuuu. S/O to the fans for the support. No video. Just organic tingz. Good pssy gyal fi get dem ting ya #BarBIA real btchs do real sht.”

An excited BIA took to the comment section to respond, “GOOD PU$$$Y GYALLLL YA BLOOODC***T HEAR MEEEEE” before taking to her own Instagram page to celebrate and, of course, express gratitude to Nicki Minaj for jumping on her track.

“PLATINUM PU$$Y!!!! @nickiminaj THANK YOUUUU!!! I’ll forever appreciate this moment with you and all we managed to accomplish! #BarBIA WE [locked emoji] in ! Love youuuu so much & BIG Thank you to everyone who shared & the BARBs!!!” she wrote.

The “Cover Girl” rapper had previously praised Nicki Minaj along with other established rappers who extend a hand to boost the careers of younger artistes.

She took to Twitter weeks after the release of the remix to express, “I have so much respect when bigger artists jump on smaller artistes records bc so many people forget we all had to start somewhere!”

When a fan responded in agreement mentioning Nicki Minaj doing the same for her, BIA did not hesitate to praise the rapper.

Notably, Nicki Minaj is known to issue a helping hand as she was also one of the first mainstream artistes to collaborate and even co-sign the late Pop Smoke.

As the rapper continues to propel talented up-and-coming artistes, the rewards are definitely coming in.

Congratulations to the female rappers on their latest achievement.

Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Pleads Guilty In Sex Offender Case

Kenneth Petty has pleaded guilty to charges that he failed to register as a sex offender after moving from New York to California after marrying Nicki Minaj. Petty was required by law to register once he moved state because of a previous conviction for attempted rape in New York.

Nicki Minaj’s husband had initially pleaded not guilty to the charge, but on Thursday, he changed his plea, according to PEOPLE. His case will now immediately move to sentencing in January.

Petty’s charges stem from a traffic stop conducted by police in Beverly Hills in November 2019 when he was arrested. According to authorities, Petty was arrested after police learned that he had moved from New York to California and failing to register his offender status. He was later released on $20,000 bail. However, he was re-arrested in 2020 when he was charged in connection with the incident.

Petty is presently out on a $100,000 bond.

Kenneth was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in New York in April 1995 when he was 16 years old. He served just over three years in jail for the crime and was required to register his offender status should he leave the state.

Meanwhile, both Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj have come under fire after the victim sued the couple for harassment and claiming that both of them tried to force her with a payoff to recant her account of the incident. Minaj, who has been raked over the coals for allegedly using money to bribe the victim, has in the past stated in interviews that the conviction destroyed Petty’s life and that the conviction stemmed from a lie by the victim.

The victim, who has identified herself as Jennifer Hough, claimed in her lawsuit that Petty and Minaj began contacting her and members of her family after his arrest in California, where she offered half a million dollars for the victim to recant her story.

The victim also claims that a prepared document recanting the attempt was also given to her with a promise of $20,000 offered upon her signature.

Meanwhile, Minaj and Petty have been quiet about the lawsuit and his charges. However, Nicki defended her husband, stating that he and the victim were “in a relationship” when the incident reportedly took place.

Although the victim denies the claims, Nicki Minaj has said that Petty was wrongfully accused of rape.

Yung Bleu is noted as among the upcoming talents to watch, and with the recent release of his debut studio album Moon Boy, the rapper is on the rise. Among those who have placed support behind him are folks like Nicki Minaj.

Yung Bleu has stated he was a fan of the Queen of Rap music and has made it known that he wants to make music with her.

In June, he put out his intentions, and it seems that he’s making progress on his request.

While out at Sony Hall in New York City on September 7, the rapper hinted that he was making a record with Nicki Minaj and almost released it to his excited fans! In response to questions, Yung Bleu let the cat out of the bag.

“I didn’t say I did that, but I’m working on a song with this artist from this city, and I wanted you all to hear this shit just to see if you all think it will work out,” Yung Bleu told the NYC crowd. “I don’t know if you know somebody named Nicki Minaj? Y’all know somebody named Nicki Minaj?” he asked.

Fans reacted stunned but quickly regained composure as they cheered.

However, the rapper didn’t let them hear the record, but after consulting with his team, he sang the record acapella. However, he stopped short of revealing more and noted that he was still working on finishing up the song and had to leave to promote his next show in New Jersey.

The rapper has been wishful of late since releasing his debut album and putting out a list of artists he wants to work on features with, including Nicki Minaj on top of his list, Rihanna, Anthony Hamilton, Maroon 5, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Andre 3000.

Following that, his tweet got the attention of the Barbz Queen, who later liked the tweet. He shared his reaction to fans, and it appears that the feature came through after all.

“WTF,” he wrote after seeing Nicki’s like on his tweet. “LET ME GET SOME SONGS READY IN CASE SHE REPLY TO MY DM,” he wrote on Twitter.

Nicki Minaj Sends Subs After Papa Bear’s Real Name Was Allegedly Leaked

Nicki Minaj isn’t playing when it comes to her son whose name she hasn’t officially released, only calling him Papa Bear since birth.

Holding back the name, however, hasn’t stopped obsessed fans and even her fren-enemies from wanting to know the child’s name. Last weekend, Nicki Minaj threw subliminal shots at someone fans presumed is the owner of a gossip blog on IG who was rumored to be once close to Nicki Minaj but has now apparently ditched her friendship with the Barbz leader and is now allegedly friends with Cardi B.

The gossip blog also allegedly charged fans money to reveal the name of Nicki’s son. However, reports are that the name she revealed- Alphonso is not accurate.

Nicki hinted that she had a conversation with the person in question. “Spoke to shawty & switched up. Let’s Play Ball. That obsession so real,” Nicki tweeted on her official account.

She added- “All you gotta do say Queen name for them to be on ur phone everyday child. Lmao. Say it with me y’all. #WhoGODBless #NoManCanCurse you will soon understand.”

She also seemed to directly address the unnamed person to who her messages were aimed at.

“Everyone, I wish you peace & love. Once you have that within, everything changes. Ppl pretend to be happy but spend day & night trying to hurt & attack others. What does that tell you? The ppl closest to you saying ur obsessed. Get it together. Onika is going to be happy boo,” She said in third-person reference to herself.

Nicki Minaj has been quiet and off the scene since the birth of her son almost a year ago. The rapper had initially kept her pregnancy a secret and has been super private with her son, only revealing snippets of him. Last week she shared an update that at 11 months old, he had taken his first steps and also said his first word – “hi” during a family video.

Nicki hasn’t confirmed the name for her son, but she has, however, added in her bio the name “Alphonso,” possibly to troll those obsessed with her.

Pamputtae’s Stocks Went Up After Nicki Minaj Endorsement

Sometimes in life, you just need a nudge to know you’re on the right path. That’s just what Nicki Minaj provided for dancehall deejay Pamputtae after she started following her on Instagram.

The songstress has faced her fair share of criticisms since entering the dancehall arena and feels that the acknowledgment that she recently received from Nicki is just the catalyst she needed to help her keep pushing.

Pamputtae spoke with the STAR in a recent interview and shared that a friend informed her that Nicki Minaj was following her. The “It Good” singer said that she was surprised since even though she believes that she is a big artist, she’s not verified on Instagram. She said what was also surprising to her was how much attention the gesture generated.

Since Nicki took the time to show her some love on social media, Pamputtae reached out to her to thank her for the powerful gesture. In thanking her, she said she also used the opportunity to see if she could get a remix to one of her songs.

“Nicki Minaj showed me some real love, and so I reached out to tell her thanks for acknowledging me, and then she replied by telling me say Advertisement a fi har favourite track. I make sure use the chance to put all the positive energy in the air for a remix,” she said.

This week, Nicki Minaj hinted that she’s down to do some dancehall after revealing that she’s a huge fan of dancehall music. She also revealed that she currently follows a number of people that she likes, including dancehall artiste Intence. They may even have a remix or a new collab on the way.

In response to Pamputtae’s query about a remix, Nicki asked for her email to send a drop.

“Me frighten fi hear har a say a Pamputtae season now when me listen the recording. It was unbelievable and anybody woulda wonder; when you hear the name Nicki Minaj, is a queen that, and if she can acknowledge me, mi haffi question it, because of my status; and memba people did a talk say me nuh hot or me nuh have nuh hot song,” she shared.

The “Nuh Problem” singer also said that since her status has been growing on Instagram, she’s been approached by a number of people who are promising to help get her verified. Still, in return, they are charging exorbitant amounts of money.

She’s already applied for verification and is waiting to hear back from the social media platform, she added. As success beckons on the horizon, Pamputtae encouraged young artists to keep working hard because you never know when your time to shine will arrive.

Nicki Minaj Is The First & Only “Queen Of Rap” Says Young Money

Is Nicki Minaj the first and only Queen of Rap?

Young Money raised their voice in the debate about who wears the crown and carries the title of “Queen of Rap,” They are sticking beside Nicki Minaj 100 percent. The label owned by Lil Wayne made the statement on Twitter on Tuesday (September 7) to share their perspective, declaring Nicki the one and only Rap Queen. While they did not use the rapper’s impressive chartings and fiery bars as proof, the Lil Wayne founded Young Money explained that Nicki Minaj was the reason the term “Queen of Rap” was coined, and as such, this automatically places her in the position for the crown.

The label wrote on its official Twitter account, “The title of “Queen of Rap” didn’t even exist until @NICKIMINAJ did the tingz that she did. And the Queen ain’t done yet. Get on ya knees.”

The Queen of Rap debate has been a long and ongoing one, with names such as Lil Kim, Cardi B, and even Erica Banks on the list of who deserves the title.

While Young Money is adamant about who the Queen is, the Hip Hop community is still tentative with its decision. Some even find the record label’s tweet offensive to successful rappers who came before Nicki.

One user responded to Young Money’s tweet, “I love Nicki but this is such an insult to the Missy Elliots, the Eves, the Lauryn Hills, the MC Lytes, the Da Brats, the Queen Latifahs, and the lil kims, who at one point or the other have been the Queens of Rap in the last couple of decades.”

Another user argued, “No but literally nobody was labeled as the “Queen of Rap” until others began giving Nicki that tootle now everybody faves “THe QUeeN of raP.”

The debate does not seem to be ending any time soon, but some social media users are not surprised Young Money would declare their artiste the Queen of Rap.

Young Money and Nicki has a long history as the rapper was signed to the record label back in 2009. Nicki Minaj had already been making huge strides by then, but her new company certainly gave her a push in the right direction.

While the 38-year-old rapper is still a part of Young Money Entertainment, sometime last year, she stated that she owns her masters directly.

Either way, the “Chun Li” rapper continues to make hits and has been propelled to high ground that has her name continually wrapped in Rap Queen debates.

Nicki Minaj & Kenneth Petty Surprised To Hear Papa Bear’s First Word

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petter were both quite surprised to hear what appears to be their son’s first word.

She shared a clip on IG of showing the adorable baby boy saying “hi” among other funny moments. The “Barbie Tingz” rapper announced her retirement from music in 2019 to focus on her family. The more of her as a mommy we’re seeing is the more we appreciate it even though we miss her bars.

Fans and fellow musicians were saddened and shocked by the news, but after having her baby, Nicki Minaj is back in action.

The rapper first revealed she was pregnant in early July of last year, and she later gave birth to her baby boy, which she affectionately calls “Papa Bear,” in Los Angeles on Sept. 30. She has yet to announce the baby’s name officially.

The first post she shared today was a series of snaps, where Nicki is seen urging her baby boy to talk, “Papa, look here…say momma I know I’m a cute boy, are you a cute boy?”

The second snap shows the baby in his walker, with Nicki playfully saying, “Get outta here”. She captioned the snap with a red heart, smiling face, and a rose.

The third shot is a picture of her baby in his walker, with a dog beside him, “Meet Nicki’s new furry friend. Visit your local shelter today!” it said.

Nicki Minaj followed up on the sweet posts with another touching video sweetly capturing Papa Bear’s first word.

In the post, Kenneth Petty is seen sitting beside her on a couch as she holds their baby boy in her arms. Petty can be seen holding Nicki’s hand as he rubs her back. Nicki sweetly says, “Papa, say me and momma laughed at that….say hi…”

To Nicki Minaj and Petty’s surprise, the baby replied with a faint, “Hi.”

The shocked expression across Nicki’s and Petty’s faces could almost confirm that it was the baby’s first word!

Fans are also speculating that the statement was a response to the lawsuit against the couple. Nicki Minaj and her husband were accused of harassing and intimidating a woman (Jennifer Hough) he sexually assaulted over two decades ago.

Either way, the entire event is precious, and fans are grateful that Nicki chose to share it with them.

Nicki Minaj Says Drake “Single-Handedly Changed Music Forever”

Nicki Minaj is congratulating Drake on his achievements after the former labelmates rekindle their longtime friendship.

The relationship between Drake and Nicki Minaj started out inseparable, but along the way, the two had multiple falling outs. The Young Money artists may have never lost respect and love for each other over the years, but they certainly lost touch a few times. Back in 2015, when Drake and Nicki’s then-boyfriend Meek Mill were beefing, Nicki was forced into an uncomfortable position where she had to choose to be in Switzerland.

The Pinkprint rapper was vocal about how upset the feud made her and how badly she wanted it to end, especially since she was often in the middle of it. “They’re men, grown-ass men. It’s between them,” she told the New York Times in 2015. “It doesn’t make me feel good. You don’t ever want to choose sides between people you love. It’s ridiculous. I just want it to be over.” While the beef that spawned unforgettable diss tracks like “Back To Back” put a strain on Nicki and Drake’s relationship for quite some time, they later reconciled.

In 2017 while he was on stage at the Billboard Music Awards, Drake told Nicki Minaj how happy he was that they made up and said he couldn’t see it any other way. That was the year the powerful Young Money trio reunited on Nicki’s track “No Frauds” when she was beefing with Remy Ma. Nicki has spoken out before about how Drake is “always mad at [her] for something,” as it seems to be the dynamic between them. That statement may have prepared some fans for the next time they seemed to become estranged after a hate campaign that was perpetuated against Nicki Minaj saw Drake remain tight-lipped for years and never once defended his Young Money day one.

In December 2018, Drake and Nicki unfollowed each other on Instagram, which sparked rumors that they weren’t friends – again. This followed Drizzy going on his own campaign to make up with people he previously had beef with, which happened to include Minaj’s ex, Meek Mill. He ended up collaborating with Meek on the track “Going Bad” for the Philadelphia rapper’s Championships album in 2018. The following year, they released a music video for the song, and Nicki remixed it, calling out “old boy” and her “brother” for trying to end her.

Alas, Nicki and Drake did eventually reconcile once again, and fans only hope it’s for good this time. Nicki announced her intentions to retire from music in September 2019, but she re-emerged in 2020, earning two No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that year in close succession. She soon went into hibernation again after giving birth to her first son, who she calls “Papa Bear.” When Nicki resurfaced with a surprise drop earlier this month, she took to Instagram Live to announce to fans and was joined by none other than Drake.

The two expressed a mutual love and respect for each other, and Nicki lauded Drake for being the G.O.A.T. and says he single-handedly got her out of her writer’s block. Drizzy also sent Nicki the track that has become the biggest off of the Beam Me Up Scotty re-release, “Seeing Green,” which features Drake himself and Lil Wayne. Drake said it didn’t feel right with Nicki not being on the song and that it’s more epic that way. “It’s just your world, nobody does this sh*t better than you,” Drake told Nicki. “When you’re gone I’m not gonna lie we really miss you and we really miss your presence, we miss the bars and we miss the excitement that you bring.”

Drake was honored with the Artist of the Decade Award at the Billboard Music Awards this year, and Nicki was quick to congratulate him on Instagram on the day of the show. “Single handedly changed music & the music business forever. Congratulations @champagnepapi,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Drake also took home the Billboard Award for Top Streaming Artist pushing his total number of trophies over fifty. Nicki says he is the greatest to ever do it and looks up to him not just as an artist but as a human being, who she often says is really smart.

One thing that Drake and Nicki have proved is that they will always fix their relationship no matter what goes down between them. When they say they love and support each other, they mean that. While they’ve had a rocky past at times, their future has never looked brighter.

Skillibeng Earns 1st Billboard Hot 100 Song With Nicki Minaj “Crocodile Teeth (Remix)”

Skillibeng gets his first Billboard Hot 100 song.

The dancehall deejay earned himself a Billboard Hot 100 hit with his Nicki Minaj assisted “Crocodile Teeth (Remix)“. The song was released on May 13 as part of Nicki’s “Beam Me Up Scotty” mixtape, now out on all streaming services.

The song debuted at number 100 on Monday, May 24, making this Skillibeng’s first US Billboard entry. “Crocodile Teeth (Remix)” has since cracked 2.5 million streams on YouTube and the same for Spotify, while getting 1.3 million streams on Apple Music. The original single already has over 20 million views on YouTube.

Ironically, Skillibeng was mercilessly dragged on Twitter some weeks ago, following his announcement about the collab with Nicki Minaj. The “Mr. Universe” deejay posted and soon after deleted a cover art displaying the collaboration with his October 2020 track, which had been hot in the streets for months before. This led fans to believe the artiste was lying and seeking clout, using Nicki Minaj’s name.

After the big drop on Nicki’s mixtape, the artiste was again trending as social media users who previously accused him were put to shame.

Skillibeng has perhaps been enjoying the significant boost and bolstered International reach since the song’s release. The remix trended at number 1on YouTube for three consecutive days after its release.

The gun-play track is currently the deejay’s biggest hit since getting his break in 2019 with “Brik Pan Brick.”

The artiste has been on the rise since, with a wide fan base, even wider now given the latest developments. Fans had projected that the “Coke” deejay would undoubtedly be making strides in the industry locally and internationally, and as such, he should take his music seriously.

As the news broke the internet on Monday, May 24, social media users were quick to commend the artiste, with hopes that he will use the opportunities from this new development wisely.

“Skilli get a big buss internationally, a just him fi know how him ago capitalize affa dis,” one person commented. Another added, “Skillibeng is the next dancehall superstar. I feel he has the potential to be bigger than any other artist right now.”

The remix with Nicki Minaj came just a few weeks after Skillibeng made links with international rappers Rich The Kid and Jay Critch and collaborated on “Real Boss.”

Nicki Minaj Unintentionally Embarrasses Cuban Doll For Butchering Her Lyrics

Nicki Minaj says she didn’t intentionally embarrassed Cuban Doll for butchering her lyrics on Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth (Remix).”

Nicki Minaj’s Beam Me Up Scotty has been making strides in the industry, and along with fans and followers, other rappers have received the new release with positive comments and feedback.

Perhaps Cuban Doll is a big fan of the queen’s new release as on Saturday, May 22, she made a post on Instagram and captioned it with what she perceived to be a quote from Nicki’s remix of Skillibeng‘s “Crocodile Teeth”, an addition to the “Beam Me Up Scotty” mixtape.

The “Let It Blow” rapper posted a shot of her squatting in a bodysuit and heels. “My type of gal wanna know da opps out,” she captioned.

Nicki Minaj slid into the comments section of the post to correct the young rapper, typing out the correct lyrics.

“Might tek a gyal man, I know da opps out,” she wrote. Perhaps no offense was taken by Cuban Doll as she edited the caption and basically went on with her day.

“Beam Me Up Scotty” was released on all streaming services for the first time last week. The “Moment 4 Life” rapper added three new songs to the mixtape; “Seeing Green” ft. Lil Wayne and Drake, “Fractions,” and a remix of Dancehall artiste Skillibeng’s hit record “Crocodile Teeth.”

While it is not new for the Trinidadian rapper to tap into her Caribbean side in her songs, perhaps it is the dialect that sparked the confusion for Cuban Doll.

Nicki Minaj later clarified that her intention was not to embarrassed the young rapper, but just to correct her. “I hope y’all know I love Cuban,” Nicki wrote on her IG Story. “I was having fun w|her. I don’t try 2 embarrass ppl I f** wit. That’s corny. I’ll never correct a lyric ever again chile. Boom.”

Still, the Barbz are making a big deal of the mishap, exclaiming that Nicki’s lyrics were butchered by the 23-year-old rapper.

“If you don’t understand patois just use another verse bc girl,” one person suggested. Another adds, “Just archive the whole post,” while another ordered, “Say my queen lyrics properly or don’t say it at all.”

Cuban Doll was quick to make the corrections, and has so far made no comments on the issue.

Nicki Minaj Dons Skin Tight Dress & Shares Adorable Photo Of Son Papa Bear

The son of rap star Nicki Minaj has captured the hearts of fans as he’s made another appearance on his mother’s social feeds. Although she hasn’t disclosed his name as yet, the eight-month-old baby is affectionately called Papa Bear by his mom, and for fans, that’s his name!

It’s the second time Nicki Minaj shared images of her son since January when he was around three months old.

The new images are from behind-the-scenes footage captured as she promotes her new song with Drake and Lil Wayne, “Seeing Green.”

Among the photos share is one with Nicki Minaj is styled in a flattering gown, and her husband Kenneth Petty is wearing a tailored tuxedo. Papa Bear is seen wearing a white tuxedo with matching leggings and his cute bare feet peeking out.

Other photos show her husband holding their son in his arms while they pose for their first Christmas portrait.

Nicki Minaj is also showing a different side to her as she shares her moments as a working mother. In the middle of a backyard photoshoot, she turns to someone off-camera and asks that they take Papa Bear inside because the sun is too hot. “Get him out this hot sun,” she says.

Nicki Minaj also turned some heads on the Gram when she posted some photos of herself donning a skin-tight dress showing off her post baby body.

The rapper, who has in the past said she was excited about motherhood, shared that she’s enjoying her moments with her son.

“I’ve also been completely overwhelmed with joy & fulfillment in the world of Papa Bear,” she wrote to fans who are finally happy to see the rapper after her almost year-long hiatus before and after her pregnancy. “Each day creates a new & fascinating, magical memory that I hide far away into a little cute compartment of my heart; vowing never to forget any of it.”

Meanwhile, she also shared her son’s favorite movie is Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and he has said his first words among them- “mama.”

She also shared that he was “bopping” to “Seeing Green” before she released it, which is a turn in events as she was unable to finish her album because it appears that Papa Bear did not like rap music while in the tummy.

“He hated rap music when he was in my tummy. He’d kick rlly hard. But he was bopping a lil bit to #SeeingGreen b4 I released it. While pregnant I could only play him soothing music like Enya/classical, etc. he’d be more relaxed. Give Young Dancehall Stars Like Skillibeng A Chance Says Veteran Producer Johnny Wonder

Many people were in disbelief last week when Skillibeng teased that he might have an upcoming collaboration with rap superstar Nicki Minaj. In fact, after he removed the post from Instagram, he was ridiculed as a lot of people questioned the validly of his claims of getting Nicki Minaj on the track.

When Nicki dropped her re-released 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty on digital streaming platforms, Skillibeng‘s naysayers were left with their mouths open as a remix of Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth” was prominently featured. The video of the remix was put on YouTube last Friday, May 14, and has already surpassed 1.7 million views and is still climbing.

The single is also performing well on local charts and is currently the number one trending song on YouTube’s local chart. It’s also number one in nine Caribbean countries on Apple Music. The producer of the track, Johnny Wonder, told THE STAR that there is a lesson in the collaboration for young dancehall artists. He said it shows that even though you do things differently if you believe in your approach, you can make it. He added that even though young acts are taking a different path to the veterans and it doesn’t mean that they won’t be successful.

“What this does for the young artistes is give them hope. It saying to them, if Skilli can do it, then maybe we can do it too one day. Quality cannot be stopped, so young artistes, just keep on going. Don’t mind the heat, just keep doing your thing,” he said.

Johnny Wonder orchestrate the Nicki Minaj and Skillibeng collab

He also shared how the collaboration came to be. “Nicki just had a baby and wanted to come back, and this was one of the songs she wanted to be a part of. It was on her radar, and that just goes to show how big Crocodile Teeth is. It was also on Drake‘s, Bobby Shmurda, Burna Boy and all those other big-name stars who were singing along with it,” he said.

Johnny Wonder and Bounty Killer

Amazingly, he added that the entire thing took a week to do, and it happened so quickly because of Nicki Minaj and her team’s love for the track. “That song is massive. I think it was bigger than Skilli at one point and once you have a huge song, the possibilities for you as an artiste are endless. It’s impressive and the sky’s the limit right now,” he continued.

What’s equally as impressive is that the producer has been churning out hits for over 30 years now. Even though he took a break in the 90s, he returned in the 2000s with a bang. He’s worked with some of the big names in dancehall like Bounty Killer and Elephant Man. Following his latest fire collab, he spoke with the Gleaner as well about his endurance in the genre. He explained that to make it, one needs to be prepared to work hard and never give up because “there’s no space for lazy people in the music business.”

He added that you also have to believe in yourself even when things seem impossible.

“I have been doing this for a while, and I have had huge successes on the international scene, but none of that came easy. I have had to persevere through a lot of things because this industry is full of obstacles. You have to be committed to working seven days a week, 365 days a year. If you want to be successful in this game, you cannot be lazy. You have to stay one step ahead,” he went on to say.

His passion for the genre began when he was just a teen growing up in Brooklyn, and he felt that he had to do whatever it took to ensure that reggae and dancehall artists get a bigger platform to perform on. While he’s achieved that for the genre many times, he believes that the moment he knew it could be done was when he got the chance to work with Bounty Killer for his 1996 album, My Xperience.

That album would become one of the greatest bridges between hip-hop and dancehall as Wonder was able to bring together a star-studded cast, including acts like the Fugees, Mobb Deep, Raekwon, RZA, and Busta Rhymes. Even Bounty Killer has publicly said that he thinks that’s his best album ever.

“I took on Killer’s My Xperience project, and working with him really helped me establish dancehall on a global scale. We worked with the Fugees and many other big names, and it was just a whole experience. That album was something special. I loved it. The world deserved to see and hear this talented man,” he added. Following that outstanding effort, New York became his playing field where he was able to work with a lot more artists.

He also revealed to The Gleaner that he’s not done, and he has new music on the way. He said that he has a new Squash, a new Bounty Killer, and some more Skillibeng in the works. However, he admitted that he prefers to work at his own pace, so there is no timeframe for when these tracks will be released.

“My dream for the Jamaican industry is to push reggae and dancehall music to its true limit. This music industry can go so far, and we just need to facilitate the growth in any way possible,” he added.

The album will follow their “Culture II,” project which was done in 2018. Culture II was a double album that consisted of 24 tracks. The album was diverse with features from different artists, including Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Ty Dolla Sign, Gucci Mane, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, and Post Malone. Production work was also done by a variety of collaborators, including Pharrell Williams, Buddah Bless, Metro Boomin, Kanye West, Murda Beatz, and others.

Fans are speculating that “Culture III” will be bigger and better, especially after Migos was featured on DJ Khaled’s album “Khaled Khaled.” Many commented that the group’s part on the song “We Going Crazy” featuring H.E.R left them yearning for more and definitely looking for it in the upcoming album.

Nicki Minaj Flexes Pink Richard Mille In Rolls-Royce Truck Ahead Of 1st IG Live

Nicki Minaj is bent on making an entrance.

The “Super Bass” rapper recently announced her return to the hip hop scene with a promise to release new music come Friday, May 14. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release, which Nicki Minaj has been promoting since the start of the week. Monday was all about the Queen appearing as bare as one can be on IG. On Tuesday, she gave a lesson on how to set a thirst trap, and on Wednesday, Nicki showed just why she is a “Boss A*s B*tch.”

Nicki Minaj posted a video on Instagram cruising in her Rolls-Royce Cullinan and sporting a pink Richard Mille on her wrist. She captioned, “Going live tmrw night @ 11PM EST- it’s the PINK Richard Milleeeee 4 meeeeee. Only 8 in the world. Anyway, be on time tmrw night.”

Fans are speculating that Thursday’s LIVE will be about her return as well as her new release. A snippet of the song can be heard as Minaj rolled up. The “Barbie Tingz” rapper had disclosed a snippet of lyrics from the song in a previous post.

“B**chs act like they want action, heard they want action, b**ch we ain’t duckin no action. I’m bout to give em dat traction, send a distraction- then ima line ’em like FRACTIONS. F R I D A Y,” she wrote.

While Nicki received immense props for stunting in her Rolls Royce, her husband Kenneth Petty picked up some heat after he was spotted chilling in the passenger seat.

“It’s her husband sitting over there like a lil kid for me,” one person commented. Another added, “She should have driven solo my opinion.”

It is safe to say Petty is not really a favorite of Nicki’s Barbz, and many were openly dissatisfied with her decision to marry him. This may be partly because he is a registered sex offender who was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995. He also pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in 2006 and served time in prison.

Petty made headlines when his relationship with Nicki was made public in December 2018. The couple welcomed their first child in September last year, which has possibly led to Nicki’s music and social media hiatus.

Nicki Minaj Announces New Music After Ending Social Media Hiatus

Nicki Minaj has announced her return to music after ending her hiatus from social media.

The wife and mother is emerging months after the birth of her son and also the death of her father recently. On Monday, fans went into a frenzy after the Queen of the Barbz posted two images on her social media showing her decked up in Chanel from head to toe.

The two shots show Nicki Minaj partially nude wearing custom pink Chanel crocs, accent glasses with various Chanel props around her, including pink fluffy heart-shaped pillows that she covers herself with.

The post is only captioned “F R I D A Y” with the peace out sign. Fans shared their excitement at her return and especially since this would be the first new music that she’s releasing since 2018 when she launched her studio album Queen.

Last year November, she released “What That Speed Bout” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and before that, she released “Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)” and joined ASAP Ferg and MadeinTYO for “Move Ya Hips.”

The rapper welcomed her firstborn in September and thereafter took a hiatus from the music scene. At a time she was expected to return, news broke that her father was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Fans, however, kept her music alive and have even caused her to have new records with her existing songs.

Days ago, the Barbz came together on Twitter in their usual trending fashion, and they promoted Nicki Minaj’s song “LLC.”

Apparently, the Barbz intended to show fan love to the Queen in an effort to get her to release new music! On Friday, the song became the No. 1 trending hashtag in the United States and worldwide with over 133,000 tweets. Artists like Doja Cat got in the fun as she reposted on her Instagram storytelling fans to stream the song.

“LLC,” is from the album Queen, and after the song was streaming, it became Minaj’s best performing single for 2021 so far. The song entered the Top 40 of the iTunes US Chart since being released in 2018.

Skillibeng Teases “Crocodile Teeth” Freestyle With Nicki Minaj

Skillibeng teases his upcoming “Crocodile Teeth” Freestyle with Nicki Minaj.

Ever since emerging on the scene, Skillibeng has shown all the qualities of becoming a master of the dancehall genre. He’s managed to cop some impressive collaborations along the way, including top dancehall acts like Dre Island, Tommy Lee Sparta, and dancehall superstar Popcaan. Now he’s looking to take his music to an international level and has announced his biggest potential upcoming collab to date, a freestyle remix of his massive hit “Crocodile Teeth” with multi-platinum rapper Nicki Minaj.

He revealed the exciting news on Instagram with the caption: “50,000 comments.” Fans immediately began to react to the news. Lila Ike, who he has a track with, said: “Run dat fuuuuh,” while Shenseea and Shaneil Muir added flame emojis to show their support while ShenYeng calls it a “big look”. The post, which was made a short while ago today, May 8, has already been liked over 50,000 times.

“Yuh wicked more Dan Weh me tink,” one fan said, while another added, “Happy for you and Jamaica when you win everyone wins.” This fan chimed in with enthusiasm, “This ago sick when it drop mi gad.”

The track has already been massively successful on YouTube and has already brought in over 18 million views since it was released in October 2020. Just last week, Canadian rapper Tory teased a new track he recorded on the Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth” riddim, an indicator of how popular the track keeps getting.

Lanez shared a clip of the track on Instagram and captioned it “@skillibeng #CrocodileTeeth …… should I drop this or leave this in the stash? … I think it’s fire tho … word to @ovoroxx cornrows.” The Esyde artist has enjoyed mostly positive feedback from fans ever since his break out hit “Brik Pan Brik” in 2019. That song has about seven million views.

Nicki Minaj, who has strong Caribbean roots through her birthplace Trinidad, has been quiet for a while now since she’s chosen to focus on her new family, but if she’s thinking about making a come back soon, then this collaboration is sure to produce some heat.

While Skillibeng is relatively new to the music, Nicki Minaj has been around for over a decade and is to date one of the most commercially successful rappers of all-time and perhaps the most success female rapper ever. She has sold over 137 million records worldwide. Despite not releasing any new music this year, her song “LLC” climb to No. 1 on the chart after her fans started pushing the single.

Nicki Minaj’s “LLC” Hit No. 1 As Her Fans Rally Behind The Single

It’s been a minute since fans heard anything new from rapper Nicki Minaj, but now she has a number one single.

Of course, she featured on a few tracks in 2019 and 2020 as a guest, but she hasn’t dropped a solo effort since her last studio album, Queen, in 2018. That’s primarily because she’s in sort of a pre-retirement phase, having said that she’s taking time to focus on her family and raising her newborn son with her husband, Kenneth Petty.

That isn’t stopping her ascendency on the charts, though. Even though she’s basically out of the game somehow, she’s still scoring hits. Thursday night, May 7, Nicki Minaj hit single “LLC” was given a sudden push by her loyal fans, aka the Barbz. The love from her fans has pushed “LLC” into the Top 30 on US iTunes for the first time.

According to social media page, Rap God, “LLC” becomes Nicki Minaj’s best performing single Globally in 2021 in just 8 hours.”

The Barbz made it their priority to try and encourage their leader to put out new music. So they got together and launched the “LLC Party” on Twitter. Soon after, the initiative “LLC Party” became the No. 1 trending topic in the United States and worldwide with over 133,000 tweets. Even Doja Cat encouraged the Brabz by telling them to stream the song on her Instagram Story.

The track also entered the Top 40 of the iTunes US Chart for the first time since its release some three years ago. Her fans could also be responding to Joe Budden’s call for her not to release music right now. In other words, Joe Budden thinks that Nicki Minaj should extend her hiatus from music. He made the statements during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast where he, Mal, and Rory were discussing whether DJ Khaled’s Khaled Khaled was a hit or miss.

“Did you not just hear everything we said about Khaled dropping during COVID,” Budden asked Mal. “You want Nicki to drop right now? Nicki, I love you, I wish you and your family well, and that’s what I got.” It seems the fans have spoken, and they are patiently awaiting Nicki’s new music, if it’s even in the works.

Stefflon Don Catches Heat From Nicki Minaj Barbz Over This Freestyle

Nicki Minaj Barbz are going after Stefflon Don for seemingly sounding like the Trinidadian rapper in a new freestyle.

When it comes to fandoms, Nicki Minaj definitely has one of the most formidable group of fans on the internet. Known as the Barbz, they are always ready and willing to go to bat for the “Queen” when warranted and in the latest case, also when unwarranted. British rapper Stefflon Don is the latest person to find herself on the receiving end of the ire of Nicki’s stans. And what did she do to deserve the vitriol? Well, she simply posted a freestyle.

The freestyle posted on the singer’s Instagram page with the caption “Crocodile Teeth Fi a Fake Friend”, sees her rapping with her signature Jamaican accent as she talks about fake friends and liking “bad man.”

The video was quickly picked up and reposted by several blogs, and that is where the drama begins. On The ShadeRoom in particular, many fans were not here for Stefflon’s freestyle as they thought she was copying Nicki and not paying homage.

One Nicki stan commented, “To dislike Nicki so much she sholl look and sound just like her….” The comment was partially in reference to Stefflon’s blue and green pastel-colored hair. Nicki Minaj was the first female rapper to embrace pastel-colored hair, with her signature pink tresses.

Another Nicki fan said, “I thought it was a Nicki voice over remix or something.” And a third fan commented, “One of Nicki’s sons.”

Despite the Nicki backlash, many IG users were here for the freestyle, with some defending Stefflon, arguing that her accent and delivery were authentic as she is of Jamaican background. One fan said, “She’s not following Nicki. That’s this girl real accent lmao y’all need to behave.”

Stefflon Don was born in Birmingham, England, but she is of Jamaican heritage and is fluent in the island’s native tongue, Patois. Nicki Minaj was born in Trinidad hence her own island girl accent. The similarity in sound between the two is, therefore, coincidental and less likely as a result of Stefflon deliberately trying to copy Nicki’s flow, and thankfully for Stefflon, there were a few of her fans who highlighted this.

Sadly, this is not the first time that the singer has been accused of trying to steal Nicki’s flow. The Barbz have regularly pitted the two against each other. Things came to a head in 2018 when Stefflon commented on the beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, stating she was disappointed in Nicki. Barbz responded harshly to her comments, sending threats to the singer.

Ever since they have berated Stefflon for refusing to pay homage to Nicki, this continues despite the fact that she has said several times that she is a fan of Minaj and has never had any beef with her.

Joe Budden To The Grammys, “Nicki Minaj Needs Her Flowers”

Joe Budden is calling out the Grammys award committee for consistently snubbing Nicki Minaj and not recognizing her talent for shattering the glass ceiling as it were, paving the way for young rappers entering the game.

Joe Budden was speaking to the fact that the “The Pinkprint” artist has not been recognized by the Grammys in spite of being the blueprint for the new age rappers. Budden is not and was never a fan of Nicki Minaj. However, he says respect is due to the Trinidadian-born female rapper, who is one of the greatest rappers of the 2010s decade for her numerous awards and overall contribution to female rap.

The former Slaughterhouse rapper made the comments during the latest episode of his eponymous podcast, where he asked why the Recording Academy has failed to recognize the New York rapper’s achievements and dominating influence.

“Nicki Minaj needs her flowers. Whoever the Grammy board is, whoever’s on there, y’all are not the ones that get to determine that Nicki Minaj and all of her impact and influence don’t get to win an award,” Budden said. “I’m sorry. I’m done with those days. Y’all are not the fuckin’ gatekeepers, the barriers of entry—y’all are not any of that … And now we’re at a stage when we have to acknowledge the, not the impersonators, but the people who were inspired by that act. It’s the same thing like when some of these people, I see the Drake influence there; call me dick rider, whatever, who knows.”

Joe Budden said the awards Doja Cat and others received made him reflect on the fact that the Grammys might end up only giving Nicki her roses after she leaves, something that music culture has moved past. “But Nicki is in that same boat. I don’t think too many more years need to go by when she’s not awarded for her efforts, that’s how I felt watching Doja Cat and some of the winners there.”

Meanwhile, his co-hosts speculated how the media or the public might react with “flowers” galore if “god forbid, something were to happen to Nicki.”

Nicki Minaj has been recognized as one of the most influential artists in hip-hop over the past decade – dropping multiple platinum records and rising to the No. 1 spot on various charts and accumulating many notable awards.

She has received almost a dozen Grammy nominations but has not won a single category during her career, which spanned more than 15 years.

Nicki Minaj’s Mom Carol Maraj Files $150M Lawsuit Over Father’s Hit-And-Run Death

Nicki Minaj’s mother, Carol Maraj, is suing the man that is responsible for the hit-and-run killing of her husband, Robert Maraj.

The civil lawsuit is seeking $150 million dollars in damages for wrongful death of the 64-year-old who was struck down while walking across a street in Mineola on February 12. The defendant in the case, Charles Polevich, failed to render assistance and even went to the extent of concealing his actions by cleaning and concealing the Volvo car involved in the accident.

According to police reports, Robert Maraj was walking on a street in Long Island when he was struck. After hitting Maraj, police say that Polevich walked over to the victim and asked if he was okay before he fled the scene. He didn’t call for help or reported the incident to the police.

Maraj’s widow Carol filed the lawsuit on Friday at the State Supreme Court in Nassau County. Civil Rights Lawyer and Activist Ben Crump who is the Attorney representing the Maraj family in the case, says the defendant was irresponsible and negligent, which led to the elder Maraj’s death. He tweeted, “Paul Napoli and I havae filed a $150 million lawsuit in the hit-and-run death of Robert Maraj, @Nickiminaj’s father. Charles Polevich was not only irresponsible & negligent in hitting Maraj, but was more concerned about running away and hiding than seeking help.”

He added, “Polevich’s behaviour was criminal, cowardly, and immoral. We will hold him responsible for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s death.

— Ben Crump (@AttorneyCrump) March 19, 2021

Polevich is facing criminal charges, including leaving the scene of an accident that led to death and tampering with or suppressing physical evidence. He had pled not guilty and is currently free on a $250,000 bond.

Meanwhile, Polevich’s attorney Marc Gann has said that an insurance company will handle the civil case but declined to comment further on the case. He, however, said that his client Polevich, 70, had a “tremendous amount of empathy for the family, the loss that they’ve suffered and expressed condolences.”

Gann told TMZ, “The question of whether there was negligence and degrees of negligence will be determined by the court. The $150 million amount seems to be over the top.”

Loni Love Backs Up Tiffany Haddish Comments About Nicki Minaj Punctuality

Tiffany Haddish is liking tweets about her comments on Nicki Minaj, while Loni Love agrees with her that the rapper isn’t the most respectful you will find.

Grammy Award-winning comedian Tiffany Haddish got herself mixed up in a bit of controversy recently after she angered Barbs when she spoke of Nicki Minaj in a less than positive light. After a fan on Clubhouse told Tiffany that she is the “Nicki Minaj of comedy,” she retorted that, “unlike Nicki,” she treats people with “respect and dignity.” Tiff has been dealing with the wrath of the Barbs ever since. While she hasn’t tweeted about the drama directly, she has been cosigning tweets from other people about it.

Among the posts that the comedian has liked is one that questioned why she was even compared to Nicki Minaj in the first place. Another tweet that Tiffany liked was from a fan defending the rapper, claiming she only gets disrespectful when people come for her. “Nicki is only disrespectful when she is disrespected. Everything she has said has come to light being right!” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Tiffany’s debatable remarks were cosigned by Loni Love, who recently revealed during Nightly Pop on E! that she doesn’t necessarily disagree with what was said. “She is correct. Nicki can be a little, you know, not punctual,” Loni said. “I had her on the show, on The Real, and girl was worth it. She was late. She was about an hour late. We had to go buy chicken for her whole crew. It was a demand. It was Popeyes.”

Loni said after showing up an hour late, Nicki did a great job on the show, but she and her crew never got around to the food she demanded. Though Loni didn’t mind getting in on the grub herself, she says while waiting for Nicki. She accompanied the production assistant to get the food, only for it to stay sitting there after Nicki left.

The diva-like behavior is nothing strange for celebrities as they are usually given the option of choosing what they’d like to have in their dressing room when they’re invited to talk shows like The Real. It is their prerogative what they choose to put on that list and if it will be succinct or extensive. Nicki showing up an hour late also comes with the territory, and she doesn’t mind bragging about it in her rap lyrics either.

Do you agree that Nicki Minaj doesn’t treat people with respect, or is it all just a day in life?
